How to buy a hat on www.mindohats.com?

You can find all our products on our SHOP section. Choose your style, color and size. When you want to complete your purchase, click on "Your Cart" and go to the payment process. If you have any questions or concerns during the process, please contact us at admin@mindohats.com.
How do I know my hat size?
To find out your hat size, you need to measure the circumference of your head. You will need a tape measure for this. If you do not have one to hand, you can use a piece of string which you can then measure with a ruler. To determine the circumference of your head, place the tape measure around your head. Make sure that the tape is not wrapped too tightly around your head. Guide the tape measure around the widest point at the back of your head and, at the front, across the center of your forehead above your eyebrows.
How many units of each product can I buy in www.mindohats.com?
You can buy as many products as you want; for wholesale or special orders please contact us via email admin@mindohats.com.
How fast will my order be processed?
Orders will be packed and ready to ship within 1-5 business days of order placement. Business days are Mondays through Fridays, excluding holidays.
How does the shipping process work?
We offer complimentary standard shipping to addresses within the contiguous states in the United States. You will be notified via email when your order is shipped, with the tracking number of the carrier so that you can verify the status of your shipment. Please allow up to 5 business days to receive your order after you receive tracking.
Two days or overnight shipping options are available for an additional charge.
Can I make changes to my order?
If you need to edit or cancel an order, please contact us by email at admin@mindohats.com as soon as possible after you place your order. Once your order has been processed or shipped, we cannot cancel or edit your order.
Can I make a Return?
Customers have 30 days from the receiving date to return all full priced items. Please contact us by email at admin@mindohats.com for a return label. Once your package has been received to our warehouse, your return credit will be processed.
The merchandise must be in its original condition. Items that have been worn, scuffed, or soiled are not eligible for return. If your returned item does not meet the above requirements, your merchandise will be shipped back to you at your expense.
Can I get a refund for a defective, damaged or incorrect item?
If you receive an item that is defective, damaged or incorrect, you must notify us via email admin@mindohats.com within seven (7) business days of receiving the merchandise. We’ll email you a shipping label to return the merchandise. Once you receive the label, please return damaged items with the original box and packaging. Once your package has been received to our warehouse, we will send a replacement or your return credit will be processed. Items damaged due to buyers’ negligence will not be accepted. All goods must be unworn in order for refund.
Can I make a special order or items that are not in stock?
Mindo Hats LLC offers a pre-order option for special orders. Pre-order items are not yet in stock, but are available for advanced purchase. Please reach out to us at admin@mindohats.com with your special request.
How to take care of my hat?
- Always handle your hat by the brim. Avoid handling the crown as much as possible, this will cause the straw to crack on a Panama hat and will eventually wear down the felt on a felt hat until there's a hole in it.
- Never rest your hat on its brim while the brim is turned down. Turn it upside down and rest it on the crown.
- We recommend regularly dusting your hat with a soft bristled hat brush to keep it clean. This brush is good for removing anything on the surface of the hat, such as dirt, dust, or lint.
- Avoid exposure to stoves, radiators, lamps and car windows.
- Store your hat in a cool dry place to help it to retain its shape and stay clean. Out-of-season, store your hat in a hat box.
- Try to prevent your straw hat from getting wet! Water will cause the straw to swell, discolor, and lose its shape.
